Some of the readers have asked me why I chose this title for the book. I felt it important to explain the story behind the title.

When I was thinking of the cover page and title for the book, I knew the book is aimed at IT industry and will poke fun at the HERD MENTALITY that prominently existed. First name that came to my mind was Funny side of IIT (Indian I.T). IIT is a popular brand in India and represents the technology stream. So, wanted to use that in the title. Was not fully convinced. I started writing few chapters with that as the title of the book. I eventually dropped the idea. 

Then, explored SHIT (Sh...I.T)....I was very keen to name it Sh...IT, as I felt we were touching some sacred cows and was apt for the book title. "Sh..." in the tile represents the "clandestine nature" of the topics we were discussing in the book. Like the book I wanted the title also to be funny. Friends and family members discouraged me from writing SHIT :-) :-) :-)

One fine morning, when composing my thoughts on a chapter, I wondered, why not "That's I.T". I felt, if we (software community in India) continued like this then its going to be That's IT! I loved the title and did some prior art search and found there was no other book titled "That's I.T". I then shared it with few select friends and my close family. They were visibly excited (at least made me believe :-). 

Title of a book plays an important role in the success of the book. Book has crossed 10,000 downloads and that excited me to share these experiences.
